Honouring the Past
and Shaping the Future

Our team brings sensitivity and precision to the restoration, adaptation, and assessment of heritage listed buildings and sites. We ensure contemporary engineering solutions are delivered with respect to architectural intent and historical significance.

Corrimal Coke Works

Hyve Designs has been engaged to undertake structural dilapidation reporting for the former Corrimal Coke Works site, a heritage-listed industrial precinct now being redeveloped as The Works by Legacy Property.

Given the site’s heritage significance and industrial legacy, the reporting focuses on structural integrity, material condition, and potential sensitivity to nearby construction works. Our team is working closely with planners, heritage consultants, and the development team to ensure that key elements of the site’s industrial character are understood and protected through the transformation process.

Cornerstone Presbyterian Church Willoughby

Hyve Designs was tasked with delivering comprehensive structural and stormwater engineering solutions for the renovations and expansions planned for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Willoughby.

The design prioritised simplicity and durability, with a steel portal frame system and precast concrete elements forming the primary structure.

Pyrmont Bridge Road

Hyve Designs conducted a thorough structural assessment of six historic stormwater conduits situated beneath Pyrmont Bridge Rd. These conduits, featuring diverse designs ranging from brick oviform structures dating back to the late 1800s, presented a complex challenge.

Our analysis entailed meticulous review of documentation, informed assumptions, and rigorous validation procedures employing advanced methodologies such as Finite Element Method (FEM) modeling, numerical simulations, and hand calculations.

Hosanna Baptist Rock Church

Hyve Designs provided structural engineering services for the Hosanna Baptist Rock Church, a complex civic and worship facility. The design involved reinforced concrete frames and long-span steel elements to support large, column-free auditorium spaces.

Our team delivered a practical, code-compliant structure with efficient material use and clear construction staging.
